The Yorkshire Three Peaks comprises 3 of the best known hills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park: Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside . The peaks are climbed by walkers and runners as part of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

I’ve completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge twice: once back in 2009 with my dad and most recently in June 2022 as a family challenge with my dad and sisters. Both times I managed it in just under 10 hours….but with several blisters and a few sore muscles!
